Membership
Fees for this calendar year are $40.00 for all classes of membership. We provide free membership for all members 90 years and over.

There are three classes of membership:
01
Service Member (anyone who is currently serving or has served in the ADF or any of Australia’s allied armed forces)
02
Affiliate Member (family members of serving and ex-service men and women). Also available to members or ex-members of Police, Ambulance, and SES (Conditions vary in State Branches). Its purpose is to provide a form of RSL membership to those who have served their country in both peace and war.
03
Social Member (neither class 1. or 2.)
Service Members receive invitations to free veterans’ lunches 3-4 times per year. All Members receive invitations to Club social events organised throughout the year. Membership includes social membership of the Torquay Bowls Club, with associated benefits.

Torquay RSL Members also receive points and discounts at other Victorian RSL Clubs in Victoria that have gaming and support the points system.

Benefits of Membership:

The ability to serve on the Committee and Sub-Committees.

The opportunity to participate and receive discounts on a range of social and sporting events.

Social Membership of the Torquay Bowls Club.

Receipt of quarterly newsletter (‘In Touch’)

The right to vote at the Torquay RSL AGM.

Full access to members’ facilities and prices at over 80 licensed RSL venues throughout Victoria.

The opportunity to help our defence community and make a difference in the care and remembrance of those who have and continue to service in both war and peace.
Leadership opportunities – the Club needs members who can accept responsibility and the challenge of undertaking a leadership role in a variety of areas, including welfare, commemorative, marketing and communications, fundraising, membership, social and finance.
